On the way to the Jane Austen Festival in Bath the atmosphere started already in a comfy reading chair at Schiphol.
(More photos later when I've got more time.)
Wait a minute, never mind Schiphol, the getting into the Jane Austen mood started with packing my suitcase. (Ok, all of the books didn't go with me, some of them were just for literary effect. I did re-read Northanger Abbey while I was there though.)
Book shop with Bath...
On Tuesday morning we had a look round the Roman Baths.
In the afternoon off to the Jane Austen Centre and the Regency Tea Room above the museum there.
In the abbey (which I've just learned, is an abbey rather than a cathedral because it doesn't contain a bishop's throne) I was mostly interested in the fantastic embroidery.

Is that at Schiphol? I would never have realized. What a homely look it has! Hope Bath was a great success.
Yay, that looks great! You'd almost forget to catch a plane ;)
Flying 1st class??? ;)
hahaha, yeah right, me flying first class ;-) Nah, we discovered this 4 seater reading corner whilst wandering about the departure area. The effect was spoiled slightly by the sounds of Eurosport tv coming from behind the screen but ach you don't see that on the photo.
