HOD house

During my run through and then out the other side of the Soesterduinen today I came across this rather wonderful looking house which is also lived in by HOD (Huis Oppas Dienst) house gaurdians like myself. On the one hand it would be nice to have a big rambling house again like the one in Doorn but then again I do actually like the compactness of this wee flat with it's tiny garden. And it's easy to heat, which this winter is definitely a good thing.

And if you look carefully you can see the train passing directly behind the house...
