Highland Check

Carin and Dusty and I went to check up on a group of Highland Cattle who graze in a protected nature park near Harderwijk today.




















There have been lots of reports on the news recently of a lot of these animals dying as when the ground is covered in snow they can't feed. We only saw one bull but if the amount of cattle dung and fresh footprints was anything to go by this group are surviving well enough.
