Hanneke and I spent quite a lot of time in queues but in between visited the Aquarium in Artis,
the Portugese Synagogue,
the Hermitage,
the Hortus
and the Bible Museum.
(This last photo is of the 'snow' that fell in the garden at the back of the Bible museum at midnight.)At about 12.30 and Hanneke decided she'd had enough and I spent the last hour and a half in the Van Gogh Museum which is round the corner from her house. Enjoyed seeing some of the letter exhibition that's on at the moment and also spending some time watching the dancing going on on the ground floor from the upstairs balconies. I think Vincent would have approved of late night electronic music in 'his' museum. Wee drop of absinth and he may well have joined in himself.
